HighPoint Thunderbolt 2 RAID Connects to Mobile PC & Mac

HighPoint RocketStor 6328 is hardware RAID storage for Thunderbolt 2 capable Notebook PCs and Macbook portables, and is small enough to fit in your hand. From a single Thunderbolt connection, it has sufficient power to stream 4K video and simultaneously transfer terabytes of HD media to multiple small-form factor Mini-SAS and eSATA storage chassis.
The RocketStor 6328 is compatible with any Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2 host platform, and has been certified by Intel and Apple. It has been tested for TBT Compliance for Windows and Mac platforms.

Designed as a RAID and connectivity system for mobile professional uses, including 4K media applications, it can be adapted for work in the field and on-site post-production environments. The built hardware RAID-on-Chip controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and JBOD configurations. HighPoint’s data security software TerabyteGuard is used to keep storage configurations online and accessible in the case of disk failure. It includes a management interface for creating, maintaining and recovering RAID and storage configurations.

The Thunderbolt 2 transfer bandwidth is capable of handling robust storage interfaces, and allows a high level of storage expansion. The dual external Mini-SAS ports directly support up to 8 SAS/SATA hard drives and SSDs. This number can be increased to up to 20 drives when paired with SATA Port Multiplier capable drive enclosures, and as many as 128 via SAS Expander - all through one Thunderbolt port.  The HighPoint RocketStor 6328 is scheduled to begin shipping in March 2014.
