The Cutting Edge ‘Make Me Appy’ campaign invites Australia’s advertising, design
and marketing teams to submit their best app ideas for production by Cutting
Edge’s Digital Team.
|The prize for the winning submission will receive production services at Cutting Edge up to the value of $20,000. The prize includes design and development, right through to launching the app on App store.|
Entries will be judged by Dave Bullard, Editor of Macworld Australia, and will be assessed on their creativity, originality, commercial viability and adherence to budget. Entries will remain the property of the entrant.
Regarding Cutting Edge’s ability to help put creative ideas into production, the company’s Director of Marketing Nic Harman said that while many people have a great app idea these days, they may not have the time or cash to make it happen. ‘Make Me Appy’ is a way to put the ideas to work. The competition opened on Monday 16 July and will close on 31 August 2012.
